I've noticed that once an AI-controlled player discovers communism, it will not hesitate to switch to communism. Diplomats built under Communism are also veteran. The bonus effect of Cathedrals (or Michelangelo) is. I had the original Civilization on my Amiga 1200 back in the day and so I guess I've always loved it, even as a little kid. By now, I've probably played a hundred games against the medium and hard AI. The Communism technology allows Communist governments to convert Workers to Riflemen and vice versa. Naturally the next course of action is to then ship them all out over the sea to the land of the Celts and nuke all of their cities (using spies too) and use their stupid railway system against them to capture them all and wipe them out. ![]() To start a new Play-By-Email game, log in here. These games are often played over a long time period, each player has 7 days to complete their turn. Having to drive them out, city by city (my god Communism + Spies + Sabotage = smurfing win) until eventually the Celts launch an unprovoked nuke on your homeland, right when you have made six new nukes and countless Armors ready for the final push on the Mongols. A Play-By-Email game is a deathmatch on a small map with up to 4 human players, playing with alternating turns, and players get an e-mail every time it is their turn to play. There's just something magical about starting a two thousand year war with the Mongols just because they killed your elephant when you were just trying to explore a new island. All of them are a bit different, but they are all beautiful in their own way. Communism has a uniform level of corruption. I've actually owned three versions of it: Mac, PC and PS. Absolute military control and a planned economy offer stability. I love II much more than I love the rest of the series. ![]()
